Port Davey by Air

It’s my 60th birthday today, Karen and my family got me a flight to Melaleuca and a boat tour of Bathurst harbour and Port Davey.

Our friends Gary and Ally came with us, we departed Cambridge about 9am and flew down over the Derwent river, Storm bay, south Tasmanian coast then between the mountains landed at Melaleuca airport.

Loading up, finding seatbelts, sorry Ally for cutting you in half
Lots of controls, I kept my feet and fingers well out of the way

Once we landed we had a short look around Melaleuca and then to Melaleuca creek to jump on a boat to take a tour of firstly Bathurst harbour, Bathurst channel and the Breaksea islands in Port Davey.
