Five days on a boat

We left wineglass last Wednesday as we headed for Eden, motoring into Eden Friday afternoon, we then crashed after 60 hours of insufficient sleep, the crossing was rough enough that sleep only came for a while when you were exhausted and then you would get woken when the boat lurched off a wave and bounced you across the bed.

So Saturday sometime when we awoke again it was to strong winds with regular gusts hitting 30 knots which is not really riding places in a dingy weather so we are staying on LaGecko until the weather settles hopefully tomorrow

There is a pub off the bow at Boydtown that has been calling us to come in and enjoy a meal

Township of Eden

So hopefully tomorrow we’ll get to explore, these 20+ knot winds have been haunting us since we got to Port Arthur intending to head to the mainland, I know it’s still technically winter but some nice weather would go down a treat for a while.
