Just having a shower this afternoon when Kaz starts yelling that another boat has just crashed into us, I run up on deck with just a towel wrapped around me, have a look at the problem which Kaz is handling well and decide to put some clothes on 😳

Que Sera a seemingly abandoned 40’ish foot catamaran had dragged it anchor and decided to use us as an anchor instead, catching its starboard side hull on our anchor snubber, bashing it’s port hull against our hull, and it’s solar panels against our pullpit.

Talk about getting our attention in the worst possible way.

We got some fenders in the way to stop as much damage as we could, one of the other boats in the anchorage called marine rescue and they appeared fairly quickly but could not do anything without permission 😕

Eventually we managed to push it away from us and Marine rescue tied up to it to stop it coming back at us

We don’t think there was any major damage, but more to come tomorrow when we can deploy the dinghy and have a look
