The big day finally came, we spent the morning packing away the last few items, catching up with Mick and Julie, returning a book to Paul, a goodbye visit from Michael from Zihir, and lastly Bruce came and saw us off and took these pictures

Ended up motoring to Egg’s n Bacon bay and had dinner on land with Carol and Steve, a lovely way to start our journey

For day two, Steve and Carol took us into Cygnet by car.

The market was on so we had a bit of a look around, did some shopping, Steve picked up a slab of scotch fillet and thankfully asked us for dinner.

We had a beautiful dinner and even Karen enjoyed the steak.

It looks like tomorrow evening someone wants to look at my car so midday tomorrow we’ll head back up to Kettering to show the car🤞they will like the car, for now our trip south is postponed.
